The Faith No More & Mr. Bungle Companion (Book Review)
Released: 2013, n/a
Reviewer: Celtic Bob
New York based writer Greg Prato has written several books in both the music and sports field. This book is the first one of Greg’s that I have read and it will not be the last. He does an excellent job telling the Faith No More and Mr. Bungle story and shares many stories and facts that I as a fan never knew.
Coming in at just under 200 pages this book is welcomed by all fans of the bands. I cannot recall off the top of my head any other book on Faith No More let alone Mr. Bungle. Prato’s book begins with the start of the band when they were Faith. No Man back in the early 80’s and follows them up to the present day reunion. No stone is left unturned including the facts as to why Jim Martin wasn’t a part of the reunion shows.
Greg presents an unbiased account of the happenings within the band in his well written book. While reading it you know he is a hardcore fan of the band and he makes no effort to hide that while trying to be open and objective. An interesting read that you will not want to put down until you are done then you still want more.
